Google Pixel 6 design and display

The Pixel 6 sports a new style for Google’s phones, and certainly one that stands out from the current top handsets. Instead of having a camera array that’s hidden into the corners of the phone cameras are located in the form of a horizontal strip that runs to the rear of the handset. There’s an added benefit of this method -Some phones shake when they’re placed on their backs because of their camera arrays, but Pixel 6 isn’t one of them. Pixel 6 lays relatively flat even though the bar extends from the rear and sides of the device.

It also has a functional purpose, by separating two colors that comprise the back of the Pixel 6. The thin strip of fabric that runs above the horizontal bar provides a bright hue to contrast with the more muted shade that forms the majority of the back. You’ll be able to choose between three options of color that include Stormy Black, Sorta Seafoam, and Kinda Coral.

Expect a robust smartphone coming from Google this time. Alongside IP68 Water resistance, this display is coated with Corning Gorilla Glass Victus for greater scratch resistance than earlier Pixels. Additionally, it comes with a Pixel 6 features an in-display fingerprint sensor, as well as a punch-hole cutout for the front camera, eliminating the requirement for bezels.

Google Pixel Display

Pixel 6 offers a 6.4-inch OLED display that comes with FHDand resolution. Additionally, Google has outfitted the Pixel 6 with a refresh rate that can automatically change between 90Hz and 60Hz based on the activity you are doing on screen. Other phones, such as Pixel 6 Pro, offer higher maximum refresh rates of 120Hz, however, this Pixel 6 can at least offer smoother scrolling than iPhone 13 and the iPhone 13 and iPhone 13 mini, which both come with a fixed 60Hz speed.

Pixel 6 has a rated maximum luminosity of 500nits and 800 nits of peak brightness when using HDR content when in high brightness Mode. This is decent but isn’t as brilliant as the rival flagships.

Google Pixel 6 cameras

As with Pixel flagships from the past, there are two rear cameras in Pixel 6. Pixel 6. However, these aren’t the dual 12-megapixel cameras that you’ve come to associate with Google’s smartphones.

The Pixel 6’s primary camera is an ultrawide angle lens with a resolution of 50MP. This is complemented by a 12-megapixel ultrawide angle camera that offers a 114-degree field of vision. It’s not a zoom lens that is telephoto like that in the Pixel 6 Pro, but Google claims the Super Res View feature -which uses computational photography to eliminate noise that comes from a digital zoom can be used to achieve an increase of 7x.

Despite the changes made to the camera configuration of the Pixel 6 the computational photography feature remains an integral part of the smartphone’s strategy for taking photos. This is particularly true since this Pixel 6 is powered by Google’s Tensor chipset. Google Pixel 6 performance and Tensor

We’ve mentioned the Tensor chip which will be featured on the Pixel 6, and while we’re curious to know the sort of performance it can provide in comparison to the Snapdragon 888 (the silicon that is found in the various other high-end Android phones) but the main point here is the increase in artificial intelligence and machine learning.

It will be the basis for new features that will be available in Google’s new Pixel 6 phone. Google Pixel 6. Google’s phones already have excellent features to handle calls when you’re placed on hold, however, it appears that this Tensor chip will enhance these capabilities by allowing users to detect robocalls and transcribing phone tree menus, and calculate wait times to allow you to call back when you’re likely to connect with real people.

Google is also promoting voice features including the ability to type text message messages. It also includes voice commands for sending and editing messages, and the ability to insert emojis into the text you type. Great existing features such as live Translate and Recorder will get an upgrade by Tensor in addition.

It’s possible that the Pixel 6 will have a larger power pack that will use the Tensor chip’s claimed power efficiency. Google has listed its Pixel 6 battery at 4,614 mAh. It’s higher than last year’s Pixel 5, which rode with a battery that had 4,000 mAh to the subpar 9.5-hour duration on our battery test.

Plus, the charge speed at 18W of the earlier Pixel flagship will become a memory. The Pixel 6 will support 30W wireless charging, however, you’ll need to purchase a separate 30W charger since there’s none on the box. Pixel 6 will be able to charge wirelessly at 21W, which is a somewhat slower rate than those who use the Pixel 6 Pro’s 23W wireless charging.
