Disney Plus makes it simple to view all the Marvel movies chronologically. The latest news is that Disney Plus is getting Shang Chi a little later than we would have liked, while Black Widow may be leaving the Premier Access paywall.

While you wait for the next Falcon/Winter Soldier episode, it’s worth rewatching the Disney Marvel films in order. Although we won’t spoil anything, this show is set to change the way that Marvel Cinematic Universe works.

Marvel movies and shows, in chronological order

This is a great way to change up your experience if you’ve seen all or most of the Marvel movies.

Some plot points may be stronger while others may seem more obvious. Still, it’s a ten-plus year-long story that is bound to be fascinating. The rest will become more intuitive after you have gone from Captain America, The First Avenger (2011) to Captain Marvel 2019, 2019.

One point: WandaVision and The Falcon are not Marvel movies. But, we can chronologically place them in the MCU. Monica Rambeau is now part of S.W.O.R.D. Three weeks later, Monica Rambeau rejoins S.W.O.R.D.

The Falcon, The Winter Soldier, and the other events that follow the blip bring everyone back are held three months later. This places it after WandaVision and before Far From Home, which is eight months after Endgame.

Loki, though? It appears in Avengers as well as Avengers Avengers Endgame. It’s best viewed after Endgame.

Black Widow? It is after Captain America Civil War so we have it listed below. But technically it happens after Endgame.

We recommend that you view the Marvel movies chronologically, for several reasons. It’s great to see how actors and special effects have evolved over the years. Additionally, you won’t feel so bad about skipping some movies if you don’t wish to complete a binge-watch. The release order also tells a stronger story — seeing a movie such as Captain Marvel out of order can be confusing and less enjoyable.

Below, you’ll notice that we’ve divided them into Marvel’s Phases. These groups are used to show major chapters in The Infinity Saga. This is the best way to organize your Marvel movie marathon.

Marvel movies and TV shows to come in 2021, beyond

The Phase 4 release date list keeps changing because COVID-19 has stopped production for movies in many countries around the world.

The big news regarding the next MCU movie was that Tom Holland’s third Spider-Man movie will also feature other Spider-Men. Yes, Andrew Garfield, Tobey Maguire, and Alfred Molina (along with Kirsten Dunst) are returning. We can almost smell the live-action Spider-Verse.

Many people are wondering where the Avengers will go for their next leader based on this list. Some believe Carol Danvers, the current leader of the Avengers will also take the reins. However, we will have to wait until July 20,22 to see if that fan theory is valid. Here’s the calendar with when Marvel movies are due to release (in order of theatrical release).

Although we would love to see all 23 MCU films streamable on Disney Plus someday, there are reasons for concern that The Incredible Hulk (and both Spider-Man) won’t be able to make it due to their ownership by Sony and Universal.

Interestingly Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse was released on Netflix but didn’t arrive on a different streaming site.

Disney Plus: Marvel movies not available on Disney Plus

Hulk (2008) can’t be streamed from any streaming service. Therefore, you’ll need to rent/buy AmazonApple, and other sites.

Spider-Man Homecoming (2016)is now available on video-on-demand from DirecTV SlingTV and FXNow.

Spider-Man, Far from Home (2019). also on DirecTV & Starz.

The Incredible Hulk can’t be streamed on any streaming platform. Therefore, you will need to rent/buy on Amazon or Apple as well as other sites.

According to Sony and Disney’s agreements, Spider-Man: Homecoming and Far from Home are expected to be released on Disney Plus very soon. Homecoming can be watched on DirecTV, FXNow, and Starz as a video-on-demand film. Spider-Man: Far from Home will also be available on Starz and DirecTV.

At this point, those who don’t want to add Disney’s monthly billing to their account will be able to rent the rest of it through iTunes (or Amazon) for $1.99-3.99 per month.
